A: Probably the USA. SGS was acquired by Kyocera, a Japanese company, several years ago. But most of their general application carbide round tools, such as this one, are still manufactured in SGS's USA factories. Some of the products, mostly micro miniature carbide round tools, are manufactured in Japan by Kyocera, but these should be USA, worst case Japan. Carbide Depot does not charge tariff surcharge fees either way.
